    WELCOME TO ANGKLY

  • What We Do

Cambodian Association for Children & Development.

In 2012, we created the Cambodian Association for Children & Development. Our goal is to promote education in remote areas.

    Our first school

In 2012, our association opened its first school in Angkly, a small village in the Province of Kam Pot.

    We have about 100 kids.

    Angkly

The school is located in Angkly, a small village in the Kam Pot region (Southern Cambodia), with about 3.000 people.

  • What You Can Do

You like our project and would like to help us? There's two ways.

If you want to be a donor

    Donations are always welcome!

    • Any contribution we can receive will be very helpful. At the moment we don't pay our teachers (they're all volunteers) and we have difficulties to buy books or new material. We're also hoping to open a second class in an early future.
    • 100% of the money we will receive will be used for the project. Because we’re a small structure, we don’t have any organisation costs.
    • We will give you regular updates on how the money is being spent.

If you want to be a volunteer

    We're looking for motivated individuals!

    • We are looking for foreign volunteers who could come and teach English to the kids.
    • We don’t ask any fee to our volunteer. We only ask a weekly contribution of 30$ for the food.
    • We will provide accommodation in Bunnib's family home, as well as meals.
    • We ask for a minimum commitment of one month. This is very important to ensure continuity in the kids’ learning.
    • Your main task will be to teach English. Occasionally, you can (if you want) participate in other projects.
  • OUR VOLUNTEERS

We couldn't do anything without them!
